Conditions of Use

At The Stone Specialists, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee. What this means is that, if the product that you purchased from us, is other than it was described, we will issue a 100% refund for the price of product.
1) The product that we provide is proven to be other than advertised, by a gemological lab report.
2) In the case of fracture filled rubies, the G.I.A. will classify them as a "manufactured product", any other gemological lab report will classify them as natural corundum, so if it is clearly indicated that the treatment of the ruby was "Filled" or "fracture filled", we respectfully decline a refund (in the case of a G.I.A. report).
* This is specific to fracture filled rubies, nothing else.
3) The parcel is returned to us in the form it was received (ie: undamaged, and in its original packaging).
4) The refund includes 100% of the amount you paid for the product, excluding the shipping charges (to you). However, the return shipping charges will be covered by The Stone Specialists (with a prepaid shipping parcel).
5) In the case of metals, if the advertised product is within acceptable range of the percentage of the metal, we will not issue a refund. A few examples of an acceptable range would be:
a) A product is advertised as 925 silver sterling, and a lab test confirms that it is 920, or 910, or 900 silver sterling. What is not acceptable is anything below that.
b) A product is advertised as 18K gold, and a lab test confirms it is 17.85K of gold, this is considered acceptable. What is not acceptable is anything below that.
6) If you have not purchased shipping insurance, we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. However, if you have purchased shipping insurance, you will be issued a 100% refund for the amount you paid for the product (this means shipping will not be refunded).
